Chicago’s Anwer to Gangs- Defending the Fatherless

Chicago, hitting just over 500 murders in 2012, is being coined “The Murder Capital”.  Most of the deaths are due to gang rivalry in the Chicago area that are grown out of control. Chicago native, Andrew Holmes uses Isaiah 1:17 and it’s call to “defend the fatherless” as his mission statement.  Read more here about how Holmes believes a mentoring program can do a lot to fight gang crime.
